The Hilltop Board of Trustees consists of  9 members, each representing the constituency of the Twin Falls Seventh-day Adventist Church and at least one member representing  parents at the school from the Home & School Association.  Members are nominated by an Executive Committe and then elected by the Church-at-Large.  Non-paid board members serve three-year terms. They help set and approve school policies and give direction to recruitment, finances, and student affairs.

Regular board meetings are held on the third and Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the first classroom of the school.  The public is invited to attend all sessions when the board does not meet in executive session. Special board meetings are held when necessary and notification is posted in advance. If it becomes necessary to change board meeting dates, notices are posted in advance in the church bulletin. 

All board meetings provide an opportunity for public comment. Individuals who would like to address the board are invited to do so; however, at least two week advance notice is required to be placed on the agenda.
